Abstract: The effect of cold radial forging of steel 10Kh3G3MFS in a two-phase martensitic-ferritic state on the kinetics of formation of austenite under subsequent heating at different rates is studied. The quantitative characteristics of the stages of formation of the austenite are determined and a thermokinetic diagram of the austenitization is plotted
