| Abstract: | Various approaches of several linguists related to political discourse are discussed in the report. It is noted that in political discourse, which directly influences the establishment of social relations, the adoption of political decisions, and their implementation, linguistic means constituting the discourse play a key role. Among these means, phraseological units hold significant importance due to their imagery, expressiveness, effectiveness, and conciseness. The choice of phraseological units is also determined by pragmatic goals |
