Abstract: Nickel-aluminum layered double hydroxide with aluminum ions partially substituted by samarium ones was successfully synthesized via coprecipitation followed by hydrothermal treatment. X-ray diffraction data showed that the obtained sample is single-phase material with hydrotalcite-like structure
